4 plain bagels, sliced in half

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

1/2 cup diced cooked ham or cooked bacon (optional)

1/2 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced

1/4 cup onion, finely chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh chives for garnish (optional)

Anleitungen
 

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

    In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until well combined.

      Stir in the shredded cheese, diced ham or bacon (if using), chopped spinach, red bell pepper, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.

        Place the bagel halves on a baking tray, cut side up.

          Using a spoon, carefully fill each bagel half with the quiche mixture, ensuring they are generously stuffed but not overflowing.

            Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the egg mixture is set and lightly golden on top.

              Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a serving platter.
