4 slices of sourdough bread

100g Brie cheese, sliced

50g prosciutto, thinly sliced

4 tablespoons cranberry sauce

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Fresh arugula (optional for freshness)

Salt and pepper to taste

Anleitungen
 

Begin by buttering one side of each slice of sourdough bread generously.

    On the non-buttered side of two slices, layer the sliced Brie cheese evenly.

      Next, add the prosciutto on top of the Brie, ensuring it's well-distributed.

        Spread 2 tablespoons of cranberry sauce over the prosciutto, seasoning with a touch of salt and pepper if desired.

          Top the sandwich with the other slice of sourdough, buttered side facing out.

            Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Place the prepared sandwich in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bread is golden brown and crispy.

              Carefully flip the sandwich and reduce the heat to medium-low to cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the Brie to melt adequately.

                If using, add a handful of fresh arugula between the sandwich halves just before serving for a pop of color and freshness.

                  Once both sides are golden and crispy, remove from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before slicing.

                    Serve warm, cutting the sandwich in half to reveal the gooey Brie and tart cranberry filling.
