Cheeseburger Egg Rolls

Zutaten
  

1 lb (450g) ground beef

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

½ cup yellow onion, finely chopped

½ cup dill pickles, finely chopped

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

12 egg roll wrappers

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

    Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.

      Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, chopped pickles, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

        Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner pointing toward you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the cheeseburger filling in the center of the wrapper.

          Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly upwards to seal. Use a little water on the edges to help seal if needed. Repeat this process with all wrappers and filling.

            In a deep pan or fryer, heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully place the egg rolls into the hot oil in batches, avoiding overcrowding. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.

              Remove egg rolls and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.

                Serve warm with extra ketchup or mustard for dipping.
